A loadmaster, assigned to the 779th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, conducts an engine start-up check on a Connecticut Air National Guard C-130 Hercules at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, Sept. 10, 2019. The aircraft was departing for a leaflet drop in Northern Iraq. The leaflets were used to communicate with the local population while Coalition Forces and the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service conducted ground operations in the fight against Daesh.
