U.S. Marines with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, conduct a walk through with the Marines of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, to gain familiarity with the CH-53E Super Stallion during Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE), Sept. 9, 2019. Approximately 3,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel are participating in AECE 2019, a joint training exercise that tests expeditionary logistical capabilities in the Arctic region and prepares joint forces to respond to crises across the Indo-Pacific.
