Sgt. Kims Chon, right, team leader with 2nd Platoon, Battery C, 2nd Battalion, 12th Field Artillery Regiment from Fort Lewis, Wash., and another 2-12 Soldier guard the entrance to farm building during Operation Viking Clampdown III Sept. 15 in Qudas, Iraq. Looking for signs of enemy activity, the Soldiers first cleared homes in the town where suspected terrorist insurgents lived. They then moved outside of the town to clear a large greenhouse complex. The operation concluded with a sweep for weapon caches in a nearby palm groove.
