A nozzle of the Modular Aerial Spray System (MASS) releases water from its tank as a demonstration for Peruvian Air Force Major General Carlos G. This type of nozzle is designed to atomize an insecticide in order to safely target mosquito populations. The 910th Airlift Wing at Youngstown Air Reserve Station operates the Department of Defense’s only aerial spray capability to eliminate pest insects and unwanted or invasive vegetation and disperse oil spills in large bodies of water.
