Indiana Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Amber Hampton, a 38th Infantry Division human resources operations noncommissioned officer extended for six years because she has a genuine love for the military.
"I have experienced things most people in my life will never get to do in life and have been all over the world; Niger, Paris, Kuwait. My favorite experience so far has been volunteering at an orphanage in Niger where I got to spend time and play with the children there. It was so heartwarming," said Hampton.
"I look forward to serving as an ambassador here at the Kuwait City's Children's Hospital where I can give back while connecting with the community in Kuwait City," said Hampton.
Hampton, who's deployed in support of Task Force Spartan, tracks soldiers in the Middle East providing a clear, factual picture to the commander of personnel readiness.
The Fishers, Indiana resident brings years of human resources experience to Kuwait after her loyal and dedicated service to National Guard and the Defense Finance Accounting Services based in Indianapolis.
