GULF OF THAILAND (Sept. 3, 2019) – Logistics Specialist Chief Jesus Reyes directs traffic from the helicopter tower as an MH-60S helicopter, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat squadron (HSC 23), prepares to depart the flight deck of the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Montgomery (LCS 8) as part of the ASEAN-U.S. Maritime Exercise (AUMX). The first AUMX, co-led by the U.S. and Royal Thai navies, includes maritime forces from the U.S. and all 10 ASEAN member states.
