U.S. Marines with Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment fire a 120 mm during a live-fire exercise in Syria, August 10, 2019. Indirect fire is essential support to Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) because it brings a vast array of munitions to bear against Daesh.
