NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Aug. 29, 2019) The wife of Cmdr. David Kim, from Mineola, New York, a chaplain aboard USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), places hisnew cover on his head during a promotion ceremony in the captain's in port cabin. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
