U.S. Marines and Sailors with the Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) stand by while landing crews assist in the landings of UH-1Y Hueys and AH-1W Super Cobras aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) on Aug. 25, 2019, off the Coast of North Carolina. The Bataan ARG, Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) exercise (ARGMEUEX) provides essential and realistic ship-to-shore training, designed to enhance the integration of the Navy-Marine Corps team. Additionally, ARGMEUEX provides an opportunity to integrate unique individual and unit skills and develop the Bataan ARG and 26th MEU’s collective proficiency in challenging and unfamiliar environments.
