SANTA RITA, Guam (Aug. 28, 2019) U.S. Marines assigned to 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division and New Zealand sailors, assigned to Her Majesty’s New Zealand Ship Matataua, conduct tactical maneuvering techniques during a direct-action tactical maneuvering training evolution as part of Exercise HYDRACRAB. HYDRACRAB is a quadrilateral exercise conducted by forces from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and U.S. Naval forces. The purpose of this exercise is to prepare the participating Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) forces to operate as an integrated, capable, and potent allied force ready to respond to a changing and complex maritime environment in the Indo-Pacific region.
