U.S. Army Paratroopers, acting as the opposing force, simulates firing on competitors at an ambush point during the U.S. Army Forces Command Best Warrior Competition at Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug. 20, 2019. Sixteen Soldiers from units across FORSCOM competed for the title of Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year on Fort Bragg, N.C. and Fort Stewart, Aug. 16 through 21. The Best Warrior Competition recognizes Soldiers and NCOs who demonstrate commitment to the Army Values, embody the Warrior Ethos and represent the Force of the Future.
