"It's important as an individual to exercise our spirituality. Just like we have to exercise for physical and mental growth, we need to have spiritual exercise and this morning is an opportunity for all of us to gather here and exercise our spirituality," said Lt. Col. Charles A. Walters Jr, U.S. Army South, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion commander during Army South's first prayer breakfast held at the Fort Sam Houston Community Center, April 11. The prayer breakfast, scheduled to take place quarterly, featured guest speaker Very Rev. Tony Vilano, rector of the San Fernando cathedral in San Antonio, spoke about God and country, reflecting on duties as soldiers and our duties to God.
