U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Austin Blocker, assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), carries the possible human remains of a U.S. service member lost during the Vietnam War at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Aug. 26, 2019. The remains, recently repatriated to the U.S. from Laos, will be examined by forensic anthropologist and odontologists at DPAA’s skeletal laboratory where the process of identification will begin.
