Deploying Soldiers from the 1st Squadron, 150th Cavalry Regiment, as well as other Soldiers from units who will join the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT), bid farewell to family and friends Aug. 26, 2019, before departing for pre-deployment training. The 30th ABCT, which consists of 4,200 Soldiers from North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina and West Virginia, will be deploying to the Middle East in support of Operation Spartan Shield in the coming months.
