Paratroopers of 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, conducted a proficiency parachute jump with combat equipment onto Normandy Drop Zone, May 1, 2012. 3rd Brigade paratroopers, with few exceptions, conduct all administrative jumps with combat equipment to ensure its paratroopers are always ready to be called upon as the Global Response Force.
