Chief Petty Officer Selects move with a purpose and board the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship USS Wisconsin (BB-64) as part of the 19th Annual CPO Heritage Days training event. The event, which occurred on August 20-22, 2019 is hosted by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. Its hosted in partnership with Nauticus, Sail Nauticus, the City of Norfolk, the Hampton Roads Naval Historical Foundation and area Chief Petty Officers. It’s the largest and longest running event of its kind in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area; and attracts over 850 CPO Selects from over 50 area and out of state commands each year for a day of history and heritage training.
