The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104), the Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Pittsburgh (SSN 720), the British Royal navy frigate HMS Westminster (F237) and the Trafalgar-class nuclear submarine HMS Triumph (S93) transit the Arabian Sea. Sterett is deployed as part of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
