U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa 19.2, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, prepare a cargo bundle to be dropped from a U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J during a Joint Precision Air Delivery System exercise in Zaragoza, Spain, Aug. 20, 2019. The delivery system is an airdrop device that uses prepared geographic coordinates programmed into a computer system to guide the parachute to the ground. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
