A Joint Light Tactical Vehicles waits in a staging area in 22 Area to be distributed to a unit on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 19, 2019. The JLTV is a more ruggedized and survivable vehicle set to replace the Army and Marine Corps’ Humvees. The Marine Corps first fielded the JLTV at the School of Infantry West, MCB Camp Pendleton, and will eventually replace its entire Humvee fleet with approximately 15,000 JLTVs.
