Contractors work on demolishing several old buildings on the cantonment area Aug. 12, 2019, to make room for the construction of a new $24 million 400-bed, four-story barracks at Fort McCoy, Wis. The demolition is the early part of preparation work for the project that is part of the Fort McCoy Master Plan.
