VARNA, Bulgaria (Aug. 11, 2019) — The Bulgarian Wielingen-class frigate BGS Verni (42) sits at full-dress during a commissioning ceremony for the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy (NVNA) in Varna, Bulgaria, Aug. 11, 2019. NVNA, established in 1881, is the oldest technical institution in the Republic of Bulgaria and its main mission is to develop qualified leaders for the Bulgarian Navy and the maritime industry.
