Senior Master Sgt. William Bassett retired from the 932nd Airlift Wing in a ceremony held August 4, 2019 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The honor guard presented the American flag to him and a reception with friends and family was held after the singing of the Air Force song. "Always dream big...always be a good mentor. It means something. There are so many friends you meet along the way, but they have no idea how much they impacted your life, and you can impact someone's life too," Bassett said.
