Spc. Duriq Coles, a combat medic specialist and resident of Pottstown, Pa., and Pvt. Emily Schaff, also a combat medic specialist and a resident of Mount Pocono, Pa., both members of the 108th Area Support Medical Company, 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, roll a “patient” onto a spine board in one of the Tactical Training Suites at the Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa Aug. 9, 2019. Coles was being evaluated for recertification as an Emergency Medical Technician, which is required of all combat medic specialists.
