Members of the Army Reserve Affairs take a breather after completing the 5K run/walk to celebrate the U.S. Army Reserve 104th birthday here April 23. The Army Reserve began April 23, 1908, when congress created the Medical Reserve Corp. Now, it is comprised of many specialties to include logistics, transportation, health care, engineering, information technology, communication networking and law enforcement, ready to react in times of national emergencies. Third Army and Area Support Group-Kuwait’s commitment to physical readiness and the rich heritage of the military and its components remains a priority.
