JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (August 2, 2019) – Lt. Cmdr. Andrew Hoppe, a dentist at Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville, conducts an annual exam on Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Savannah Gamel. Hoppe, a native of Sterling Heights, Michigan, says, “The Navy Dental Corps has been an essential part of creating a medically ready force for over 100 years and I’m extremely proud to be a part of that history." The Navy Dental Corps celebrates its 107th birthday on Aug. 22, and continues to contribute to combat and humanitarian missions around the world.
