ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 29, 2019) The San Antonio-class transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) transits the Atlantic Ocean behind the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) during a simulated strait transit while participating in a Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) with other U.S. Navy warships. Warships assigned to the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group are participating in the exercise in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Virginia, to maintain readiness, proficiency and lethality.
