ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 28, 2019) Two surface contacts approach the San Antonio-class transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) during a basic surface warfare exercise while participating in a Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) with other U.S. Navy warships. Warships assigned to the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group are participating in the exercise in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Virginia, to maintain readiness, proficiency and lethality.
