The image is taken from inside an aircraft looking out through an open door or ramp onto a runway, where a V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft is parked with its rotors in horizontal (airplane) mode. The Osprey appears to be a military variant, likely a MV-22B used by the U.S. Marine Corps, identifiable by its distinctive twin-rotor configuration. The setting appears to be a remote or austere airstrip surrounded by arid terrain.

An MV-22B Osprey taxis on the runway at RAAF Base Darwin before conducting fast rope training with U.S. Marines from 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, a part of Marine Rational Force - Darwin (MRF-D), on August 6, 2019. The training was conducted to enhance the Marines skills when fast roping from a MV-22B Osprey aircraft in the event it cannot land, or a quick insertion is necessary.
