A C-17 Globemaster III assigned to Joint Base Charleston approaches a KC-135 Stratotanker for an inflight refueling July 31, 2019, over South Carolina. Joint Base Charleston's Mobility Airmen contribute to global airlift mobility efforts as part of combat ready C-17 aircrews that maintain air refueling, low-level airdrop, aeromedical and humanitarian capabilities.
