U.S. Coast Guardsmen from USCG Cutter Hamilton receive their pre-training safety brief before taking part in annual combat arms training at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Aug. 1, 2019. Coast Guard combat arms instructors from U.S. Coast Guard Sector Charleston assisted in the evaluation of the guardsmen to ensure they were ready and worldwide qualified for their next mission. Combat Arms Training and Maintenance instructors support the readiness of Joint Base Charleston’s mission partners through training and evaluating service members on proficiently operating and safely handling their weapons.
