190801-N-GR168-1058 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 1, 2019) An MH-60S, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23, leaves the flight deck of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship New York (LPD 21) during a surface warfare advance live fire August 1, 2019. The New York has returned to sea for Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT). Warships assigned to the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, including USS New York, are participating in the exercise in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Virginia, to maintain readiness, proficiency, and lethality.
