"You have demonstrated the history, experience and performance to get you to this place in your career, and this is just the beginning as you build up from being an Navy E-6 to becoming a Navy chief. A big part of your credibility in becoming chief is your performance as a Sailor. It is now your job to help those other Sailors to continue to grow. That's part of the sacred trusty of the Navy Chief's Mess which you are now part. You are all going to excel. Not for yourself, but for your Sailors. We am incredibly proud of all of you," said Pearigen.
