Recruits with Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, perform curls with a log at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, July 29. If one recruit failed to put the amount of effort needed, the rest of the group had to pick up the slack. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate Sept. 20.
