Reenactment soldier displays military artifacts on July 27, 2019 at the dedication of 18.4 acres, which was used as the Parade Grounds that was part of the Mount Gretna State Military Reservation used by the National Guard of Pennsylvania from 1855 until 1935 when the last unit left for training at the current Fort Indiantown Gap Military Reservation. This was the only site for today's Pennsylvania National Guard units when sending troops in the Spanish American War and a major mobilization site for those in World War I.
