ATLANTIC OCEAN (July25, 2019) Seaman Alexander Cheever, assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard Tall Ship Eagle (WIX 327), receives a Letter of Commendation from Capt. Matthew Meilstrup, Eagle's commanding officer, during an awards at quarters ceremony on the ship's waist. Eagle is a tall ship used as a training platform for future Coast Guard Academy officers as well as a vessel for establishing and maintaining domestic and international relationships.
