NEW LONDON, Connecticut (July 25, 2019) A U.S. Coast Guard Academy Cadet uses an alidade to measure bearing as the Coast Guard Tall Ship Eagle (WIX 327) navigates to the pier. Eagle is a tall ship used as a training platform for future Coast Guard Academy officers as well as a vessel for establishing and maintaining domestic and international relationships.
