A Marine with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 1 conducts a “buddy rush” during the annual Battle Skills Test on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, July 26, 2019. This event provided Marines an opportunity to physically train and push themselves while building camaraderie within the unit. The annual assessment covers a variety of categories including: basic infantry skills, first aid, communications, history, leadership, and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Being proficient in these skills ensures that Marines are ready to fight and win no matter the clime or place. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Ryan Persinger)
