The department of surgical services at U.S. Navy Hospital Yokosuka welcomed their counterparts from the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force Yokosuka Hospital to participate in an interoperability evolution involving a simulated patient with a previously treated gunshot wound, which now required a hernia repair and scar revision.
