The guided-missile frigate USS Crommelin (FFG 37) pulls into Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam after participating in the 49th annual Merrie Monarch Festival in Hilo, Hawaii. The ship also hosted cadets and chaperones from Waiakea High School Navy Junior ROTC for an underway trip from Hilo to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Oahu. Crommelin sailors attended hula competitions and participated in the Merrie Monarch Royal Parade in downtown Hilo during the festival.
