Sgt. Brad A. Desporte, a motor transport operator with Company A, 703rd Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, ground guides a Humvee, April 11, at the start of a waterborne mission readiness exercise at the Port of Savannah. “Maintainers” partnered with watercraft operators and engineers with the 10th Transportation Battalion, from Fort Eustis, Va., for the two-day exercise, which tested the logistical soldiers’ on their ability to rapidly deploy personnel and equipment for whatever missions may arise in the future.
