Iraqi soldiers conduct a corridor drill while clearing a building, on Camp Taji, Iraq, June 16, 2019. The purpose of the corridor drill is to allow 360 degree protection to soldiers when clearing a building. Hallways and corridors are a danger zone and should always be considered a fatal funnel of fire, and the way in which soldiers approach a room is just as important as their actions within. Together, the Coalition and the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population, support a return to normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
