190711-N-DQ787-0147 CORAL SEA (July 11, 2019)- Seaman Jazmine Ingarra, from Las Vegas, uses the ship’s binoculars aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) to look at the Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Key West (SSN 722), left, and the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 72). Wasp, flagship of the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is currently participating in Talisman Sabre 2019 off the coast of Northern Australia. A bilateral, biennial event, Talisman Sabre is designed to improve U.S. and Australian combat training, readiness and interoperability through realistic, relevant training necessary to maintain regional stability, peace and stability.
