FACES OF THE DEEP: BANGOR, Wash. - "It's a rigorous process to get your dolphins. You have to prove your worth to the crew and show you can save the ship and others when needed," said Machinist Mate (Nuclear) 2nd Class Justin A. Mohn, a Huntington Beach, Cali., native, assigned to the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Kentucky (SSBN 737) (Blue) about earning the Submarine Warfare insignia. "I earned mine during an exercise and pinned topside in the sail in the early morning with dolphins swimming next to the boat. It was an awesome experience."
