Chief Builder Dean Allen, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, lifts a launch nose component during the deconstruction of a medium girder bridge on Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Facility in Hattiesburg, Miss., June 19, 2019. This was the largest medium girder bridge constructed by Gulfport Seabees in a training environment. NMCB 1 is homeported in Gulfport, Miss., to prepare and execute a comprehensive unit-level training plan in order to meet future mission requirements.
