Brig. Gen. Paul Funk (left), the deputy commanding general of maneuver for the 1st Infantry Division, stands with his Punch Bowl ceremony cup, April 7. Funk received this cup after his initial assignment with the Ironhorse Brigade where he served with the 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment. The battalion conducts a punchbowl ceremony to say farewell to company commanders and first sergeants when they leave the battalion.
