U.S. Army Col. Eric Van Den Bosch, Kurdistan Training Coordination Center director, met with Iraqi Maj. Gen. Kakamand Kakarash, a Peshmerga forces commander, in Kifri, Iraq, June 15, 2019. The two leaders and their staffs discussed ongoing joint security efforts and operations to defeat Daesh and ensure the ongoing stability of the region. The 75-nation and five international organization Global Coalition remains united and determined in its mission to degrade and defeat Daesh, and continue to work with allies and partners to implement stabilization efforts.
