Airmen from the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron perform final approach checklists in preperation for landing their KC-10 Extender, July 5, 2019 over Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. The 908th EARS plays a key role in ongoing operations in U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility by maintaining constant readiness in support of air operations, providing deterrence and stability, and bolstering the mission efforts of coalition partners. The tanker crews play a vital role in assuring the success of operations by extending flight times for U.S. and coalition aircraft with the capability of offloading thousands of pounds of fuel a minute.
