Spc. John Schoffstall, a Paratrooper assigned to C Company, 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, performs first aid during the patrol lane while testing for his Expert Infantry Badge on Fort, Bragg, N.C., March 27, 2012. The 1-325th AIR held the testing for the EIB on March 26-30. First aid is only one part of a series of tasks Schoffstall had to complete in order to pass the lane. About 175 of the 309 paratroopers who started the training earned their EIB, with 157 of them being from the 1-325th AIR. Schoffstall earned his EIB, March 30, after completing the 12 mile foot march. Schoffstall is native to Alexandria, Va.
