    The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Orion capsule separates from Northrop Grumman’s Minotaur IV rocket as designed on July 2, 2019, at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. The capsule separated to test the launch abort system that will ensure an astronaut’s safety in the event of an anomaly when re-entering the Earth from space.
