190608-N-DX072-1013 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 8, 2019) The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Ōsumi-class amphibious transport dock ship JS Kunisaki (LST 4003) transits with the JMSDF Hyūga-class helicopter destroyer JS Ise (DDH 182), the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) during a bilateral transit partnership exchange. Green Bay is underway conducting routine operations as a part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
